Vollmer V2 Vortac 44mm Swiss COSC Certified Chronometer on a Hirsch Liberty StrapThe new Vollmer V2 Vortac aviator watch features a retro aviator dial and the movement is a COSC certified chronometer with a certificate. It is a beautifully executed WWII style German aviator watch with a riveted aviator-style strap. It includes a sapphire crystal, display back, C3 SuperLuminova treated hands and dial markers, a solid stainless steel case, and a 25 jewel Swiss/ETA automatic COSC chronometer rated movement (with hack set and Incabloc shock resistance). It is fitted with a authentic Hirsch Liberty leather strap and a Vollmer pilot style strap with a bomber jacket extension. Comes with a large crown that operates smoothly and is easy to grip. The use of the large crown came about due to the cold temperatures in the cockpit. So, pilots wore leather jackets and gloves. The big crown made it possible to grip with gloves on. Also, the watch was often worn over the sleeve of the pilot's jacket and it required an extension on the strap to fit.
